Thank you for supporting our family business! Every plant is grown, inspected, and packed with care. We strive to provide healthy, high-quality plants and an exceptional customer experience from purchase to delivery.
🧪 Tissue Culture Disclaimer
Tissue culture (TC) plants are sold in sterile media and require acclimation after opening. By purchasing, you acknowledge:
• Acclimation is the buyer’s responsibility.
• Success depends on proper care and environment.
• Once a TC bag is opened, survival and growth cannot be guaranteed.
We’re always happy to answer acclimation questions.
📦 Shipping
We typically ship Monday–Wednesday to reduce weekend transit. Plants are professionally packed to minimize movement and damage. Shipping schedules may change due to weather or holidays.
UPS Ground is our standard shipping method. Shipping upgrades are available in our shop.
🌿 Shipping Stress
Plants are living organisms. Minor shipping stress is normal and not considered a defect, including:
• Slight yellowing
• Cosmetic blemishes
• Drooping or bent leaves
• Soil displacement
• Cloudy TC agar from heat
🔥 Heat Packs & Cold Protection
Insulation and heat packs are available for purchase and are highly recommended during extreme temperatures. They reduce risk but cannot guarantee protection from severe weather or carrier delays.
🌡️ Weather Policy
Plant health comes first. We may delay shipping during unsafe weather and will communicate any delays as quickly as possible.
🚚 Carrier Delays
Once accepted by the carrier, delivery times are outside our control. We are not responsible for delays caused by weather, UPS, routing errors, mechanical issues, natural disasters, or holiday congestion. We are happy to assist with carrier communication whenever possible.
📬 Delivered Packages
Once tracking shows Delivered, responsibility transfers to the buyer. If a delivered package cannot be located, we’ll gladly help with a carrier claim but are not responsible for lost or stolen packages after delivery.
🏠 Shipping Address
Please verify your shipping address before purchasing. Rooted Kingdom is not responsible for incorrect addresses, forwarded or undeliverable packages, or additional shipping charges caused by address errors. Any resulting costs are the buyer’s responsibility.
🌿 Plant Appearance
Every plant is unique. Natural variation in variegation, leaf size, shape, root development, coloration, and growth habit should be expected. Unless listed as an Exact Plant, photos represent examples of the variety.
🔄 Returns & Exchanges
Due to the nature of live plants:
• All sales are final.
• No returns or exchanges.
• No refunds for buyer’s remorse, shipping delays, acclimation issues, or change of mind.
Please ask questions before purchasing—we’re always happy to help.
🌱 Buyer Responsibility
After delivery, buyers are responsible for proper acclimation, lighting, watering, humidity, fertilization, pest prevention, and ongoing care. Growing conditions vary, and we cannot guarantee plant performance after delivery.
